I don't know how this picture wound up where it is, but it's so appropriate; my first lover, when I was 17, was the cousin of Christopher Lee, the best Dracula of the movies: I once did a welded steel sculpture, while living in Paris, of a skeletal bewinged vampire figure after seeing the Claus Kinski film Nosferatu; during the late 70's and early 80's, I wore a full-length, hooded purple velvet cape, a tall voluptuous redhead dancing at the Palais club said to me, "Vous etes le Maitre." and the strippers in Toronto called me Drac. But I'm no blood-sucker, I just worship and adore redheads!
